When Alpha Electric Supply Co. was founded in 1987 by Hank Pacheco, Frank Gruetzmacher, Tony Ventura, and Ron Warwick, we were a small operation in Kahului, Maui. Today, we are the largest independently owned electrical supply distributor in the state of Hawai'i. In addition to our headquarters in Kahului, Alpha has branches in Kona, Hilo, and Honolulu.

Alpha has grown throughout the years; Hank Pacheco, President of Alpha, says that much of our success comes from our team of professional & knowledgeable employees who embraces our Company's motto: "Service counts at Alpha Electric Supply Company...where you make a difference".

Business comes from customers comprised of electrical contractors, industrial and commercial accounts, hotels, condominiums and apartments, government, and utilities. The Honolulu operation is a non-stocking operation and major customers include the military, state and Hawaiian Electric.

Sales by product type include electrical fittings, lighting, wire and cable, heating and ventilation, boxes and wiring devices, conduit and PVC pipe, tools, tape, load centers, breakers, transformers, motors and other miscellaneous supply lines.
